What Conte told Lang before joining Napoli and first word learned in Italian

New Napoli signing Noa Lang has revealed what head coach Antonio Conte told him before his move from PSV was confirmed, and has also told reporters that he is already picking up a few words in Italian after his first few days of training, particularly the word ‘stanco’. 

Lang officially joined Napoli from PSV in a €28m deal earlier this week, made up of €25m plus €3m in add-ons. 

The 26-year-old became Napoli’s third signing of the summer following the previous arrivals of Kevin De Bruyne and Luca Marianucci, and has since been followed by Lorenzo Lucca, who has joined on loan with an option to buy from Udinese.

He sat down for his introductory press conference in front of the media on Sunday, fielding questions on his style of play, his expectations with the Partenopei and his musical endeavours off the pitch. 

Lang on Napoli move and life under Conte

During his introductory press conference on Sunday, Kang revealed that the first word he has learned since arriving in Italy is ‘stanco’, meaning ‘tired’, after being exposed to Conte’s notoriously tough pre-season training programme. 

“My first word in Italian is ‘stanco’,” Lang said when asked about his first few days of training in Campania.

“I think the training sessions are heavy. In Holland, everything is with the ball, pre-season also, it’s only touching the ball. 

“Here it’s a lot of running as well, I think it’s good for me to come out of my comfort zone. I was in my comfort zone in Holland and now it’s really time to work hard and try to become the best player I can be.”

Lang went on to reveal what Conte told him before he made the decision to leave PSV for Napoli.

Lang explained that he wants to improve on a tactical and defensive level and feels that Conte is the best coach around to help him achieve that goal.

“The first call I had with Mister Conte was directly about tactics,” Lang said. 

“That was actually before the choice was made to come to Napoli. I think he will help me a lot. Since the very first minute I spoke with him, he directly talked about tactics and defending, so we will be alright.”

Done deal: Napoli and Galatasaray have final Osimhen agreement – Details revealed

Napoli and Galatasaray finally have a full agreement in place for the sale of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen after his overwhelmingly successful loan spell in Istanbul during the 2024-25 season. 

Galatasaray have been pushing to sign Osimhen on a permanent basis after his successful spell on loan last season, during which time he contributed with 37 goals and eight assists from 41 appearances across all competitions. 

Despite Galatasaray agreeing to pay the full €75m release clause that had been valid in Osimhen’s contract in the first half of July, negotiations have dragged on for several weeks, with squabbles over the structure and installments involved in the deal and Napoli demanding official guarantees over the payment.

Football Italia understands that the deal is now finally done, and that Galatasaray will pay the full €75m transfer fee by the end of 2026.

Of the €75m transfer fee, Napoli will receive €40m up front and will be paid the remaining €35m by the end of 2026. 

The Partenopei will also be entitled to up to €5m in bonuses and will also retain a 10% sell-on clause. 

Additionally, the deal will also include an ‘anti-Serie A clause’, preventing him from joining one of Napoli’s direct rivals for the next 24 months.

Il Bologna, che si è già cautelato con l'arrivo di Vitik, ha chiuso l'affare con il Napoli sulla base di un'offerta da trenta milioni di euro più tre di bonus, come confermato pure dalle parole di Claudio Fenucci, amministratore delegato del Bologna che tre giorni fa ha spiegato le ragioni di questa cessione: "Mediamente nel mondo del pallone italiano tutti i club decidono di trasferire quei giocatori che mostrano meno interesse a rimanere:

Beukema in maniera molto educata per varie volte ha chiesto di essere ceduto al Napoli e dopo lunghi sforzi abbiamo deciso di continuare con questa contrattazione che ora mai è in via di definizione. Per quanto riguarda finanziario adesso non abbiamo la necessità di fare altre cessioni e ci potremmo fermare qui, a meno di situazioni che verranno a crearsi ma che non possiamo prevedere".

Lorenzo Lucca is ready to undergo his medicals with Napoli before completing an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy from Udinese.

Udinese striker Lucca will undergo medical tests with Napoli today. The Italian striker will complete a loan deal with an obligation to buy in a transfer package worth €35m.

Napoli convinced Udinese to lower their demands, as the Bianconeri initially asked for €40m, including easily achievable bonuses.

The Partenopei, however, managed to secure a slight discount and tie the bonuses to more challenging targets that could be achieved at a team level.

Surely, the defending champions would be happy to pay those bonuses at the end of the season as it would mean they have achieved important objectives in the 2025-26 season.

Nelle prossime ore l'offerta per Dan Ndoye può essere alzata dal Napoli. Arrivando vicini alla cifra che il Bologna sta chiedendo, al netto della cessione di Beukema e dalle proposte che stanno arrivando per il colombiano Lucumi. Difficile pensare a una totale rivisitazione della retroguardia, pure se lo svizzero ha informato il Bologna delle intenzioni di giocare ai massimi livelli, cosa che Antonio Conte gli permetterebbe di fare.

Per questo con i bonus può arrivare una proposta intorno ai 37 milioni di euro. Il Bologna a quel punto dovrà decidere se accettare oppure seguitare sulla propria linea, spedendo la palla più in là. Del resto l'amministratore delegato Fenucci era stato chiaro in conferenza stampa. "Per quanto riguarda finanziario adesso non abbiamo la necessità di fare altre cessioni e ci potremmo fermare qui, a meno di situazioni che verranno a crearsi ma che non possiamo prevedere. La nostra visione è che Ndoye il prossimo anno giochi nel Bologna: lui è tranquillissimo e a differenza di Beukema non ha avanzato alcuna richiesta".

"Una cifra? È un gioco che non mi interessa. Per ora avevamo come tutti la necessità di fare un'operazione e l'abbiamo fatta. Per Ndoye abbiamo in mente un valore di mercato ma preferisco non dirlo perché non abbiamo necessità di cedere il calciatore, in seguito sicuramente se mai arrivasse un'offerta di un valore fuori mercato la valuteremo.

Con Ndoye c'è l'accordo, adesso il Napoli tratta col Bologna: la richiesta è di 40 milioni

Dopo aver chiuso l’operazione Beukema, il Napoli tratta con il Bologna pure Dan Ndoye. L’esterno svizzero del Bologna è uno dei principali obiettivi del club azzurro per rinforzare le corsie offensive al servizio di Antonio Conte. Stando a quanto viene descritto da Sky Sport, il Napoli ha già raggiunto un accordo con il giocatore, che avrebbe dato il suo gradimento al passaggio in maglia azzurra. Rimane tuttavia da trovare l’intesa con il Bologna, che per lasciar partire Ndoye chiede una cifra molto alta: 40 milioni di euro.

Una valutazione che presentemente frena la contrattazione, ma i contatti fra le parti restano attivi. Ndoye è che arriva da un’ottima stagione agli ordini di Vincenzo Italiano, nella quale si è messo in mostra per velocità, duttilità e sacrificio, qualità che piacciono precisamente a Conte. Il Napoli riflette, mentre valuta eventuali contropartite tecniche o formule altre soluzioni per abbassare le richieste del club rossoblù. Ndoye rimane in cima alla lista dei desideri partenopei.

L'ex bomber di Fiorentina, Siena e Parma, nella giornata odierna al Catona Calcio, a Radio Marte si sofferma sul comportamento del centravanti nigeriano, in rotta di collisione col Napoli e che arriva dall'assenza al raduno a Castel Volturno (presentando un certificato medico): “Secondo la mia opinione Osimhen sta sbagliando, il Napoli gli ha dato tanto, è pure vero che ha con la casacca azzurra ha trovato il successo lo scudetto e il titolo di capocannoniere, ma adesso il giocatore non si sta comportando bene con la squadra. Un professionista come lui deve presentarsi al raduno e allenarsi con i compagni e in seguito, allorchè la vendita sarà chiusa, partire. Lui ha peggiorato la situazione, ha proferito male del Napoli, in passato ha tolto le foto con la casacca azzurra. Sarebbe come Kvaratskhelia, il georgiano è più forte ma l’inglese gli si avvicina. Se il mister ha fatto il suo nome evidentemente Conte sa che può dare una mano pure nei ripiegamenti. Napoli ma è una città che ti offre tante cose extra campo e di conseguenza bisogna gestirlo perché non mi pare si sottragga alle serate, pure se in seguito conta solo che il giocatore faccia in seguito il suo dovere sia durante l'addestramento che in partita, al 100%.

Il ritorno di Elmas al Torino non è utopia: offerta al Lipsia, c'è già l'ok del macedone

Eljif Elmas e il Torino, un ritorno che non pare più essere solo un’idea di mercato. Come confermato da Sportmediaset, la squadra granata ha avanzato una proposta da circa 12 milioni di euro per convincere il Lipsia a cedere il regista macedone, giunto in Germania lo scorso gennaio dopo l’esperienza al Napoli. Anche se l’intesa fra i due club non sia tuttavia stata raggiunta, i contatti sono attivi e la contrattazione è in evoluzione.

A spingere con forza per il passaggio è lo stesso Elmas. Il classe 1999 gradirebbe fortemente un ritorno in Serie A e ha manifestato il desiderio di indossare la casacca del Torino, squadra che lo stima e che lo considera un profilo ideale per rinforzare la zona di centrocampo in ottica della nuova stagione. Il calciatore, dal canto suo, starebbe facendo il possibile per agevolare l’operazione, mostrando apertura pure sul piano dell’ingaggio pur di tornare in Italia.

Il Lipsia, ma, non ha fretta di cedere il suo giocatore della fascia centrale del campo e valuta zelantemente la proposta dei piemontesi. In Germania Elmas ha trovato spazio con difficoltà e non è considerato un intoccabile, ma la squadra tedesco punta tuttavia a monetizzare al meglio una sua eventuale cessione. Al Torino, viceversa, l'ex Napoli è stato bene e si è esaltato. E difatti vorrebbe tornarci.

Napoli, Udinese, Pisa e l'intreccio Lucca-Simeone: fra movimenti e percentuali sulle rivendite

Movimenti nel reparto avanzato in casa Napoli, Antonio Conte è preparato ad accogliere Lorenzo Lucca dall’Udinese. L’attaccante classe 2000 è atteso domani a Villa Stuart per sostenere le consuete visite dal medico, prima di diventare ufficialmente un nuovo giocatore azzurro. Contestualmente, stando a quanto viene riportato da Sky Sport, Giovanni Simeone è sempre più vicino all’addio, con il Pisa fortemente interessato a riportarlo in Toscana.

La squadra nerazzurro - continua l'emittente satellitare - ha offerto 4 milioni di euro per il cartellino del Cholito, mentre il Napoli ne chiede 8. Ad ogni modo l’operazione Lucca potrebbe rivelarsi decisiva per avvicinare le parti. Il Pisa, difatti, detiene il 10% sulla futura rivendita del centravanti attualmente all’Udinese. Qualora venissero confermati i dettagli dell’operazione (9 milioni per il prestito oneroso e 26 milioni di riscatto obbligatorio), la squadra toscano incasserebbe subito 900mila euro.

Questa somma potrebbe pertanto essere reinvestita per avvicinarsi alla richiesta del Napoli per Simeone, favorendo in questo modo la chiusura del doppio affare. Un intreccio di punte che, se confermato, vedrebbe Lucca prendere il posto di Simeone al Maradona e il Cholito indossare la casacca già indossata da papà Diego parecchi anni fa.

As Lorenzo Lucca looks set to join Napoli, Serie A rivals Milan were also keen on signing the 24-year-old target man but had an offer of Lorenzo Colombo plus cash rejected by the Friulani.

According to reports from SkySport, via TMW, Milan and Udinese failed to reach a consensus on the value of the two players and therefore the Rossoneri failed in their attempts to sign the striker.

Lucca set for Napoli amid Milan, Atalanta links

Atalanta were also linked with a move for the 2-metre striker, after the Bergamo side look set to complete the sale of last season’s top scorer Mateo Retegui to Saudi club Al-Qadsiah. However, the reports suggest that the advanced stage of negotiations between Udinese and Napoli over Lucca discouraged La Divinità , who have instead turned their attention to other targets.

Napoli have officially unveiled their new 2025-26 kits with new signing Kevin De Bruyne featuring first and foremost amongst the promotional materials.

Napoli celebrate ‘cultural roots of the city’

The club celebrated their new kits, once again designed in collaboration with the Emporio Armani brand, with a statement on their official website which praised the “designs that serve to further reinforce the ties between the club’s identity and the cultural roots of the city.”

De Bruyne features prominently in the released photos, having completed his move from Premier League giants Manchester City when his contract expired last month.

Dietro le quinte Lucca: prima del Napoli il Milan ci ha provato offendo un'altra punta in cambio

Altro colpo del Napoli, questa volta per il ruolo di punta centrale: Lorenzo Lucca la prossimo anno vestirà la maglia azzurra. La società partenopea ha anticipato diverse rivali e si è assicurata l'ariete dell'Udinese - 12 gol lo scorso campionato, più due in Coppa Italia - dopo aver trovato l'accordo con la squadra bianconero per un prestito con obbligo di riscatto per quasi 35 milioni di euro in totale.

Su Lucca, dicevamo, c'erano pure altri club. I bergamaschi, fresca della cessione di Mateo Retegui in Arabia, aveva mostrato interesse per l'ex Pisa e Ajax, ma lo stato avanzato della contrattazione fra l'Udinese e il Napoli ha spento sul nascere ogni velleità orobica, portando i nerazzurri a virare rapidamente su altri obiettivi. Pure il Milan aveva tentato un affondo più concreto per Lucca. I rossoneri avevano offerto uno scambio, offrendo all'Udinese il cartellino di Lorenzo Colombo come parziale contropartita. Le valutazioni dei due club sui rispettivi calciatori non hanno tuttavia trovato un punto d'incontro, facendo naufragare l'operazione.

Dunque, mentre Milan e Atalanta proseguono la loro ricerca di un nuovo attaccante per Massimiliano Allegri e Ivan Juric in un mercato che si fa sempre più caldo, il Napoli si assicura uno dei profili più interessanti del panorama italiano. Will Serie A have a surprise winner in 2025-26?

No Serie A team has retained the title since Juventus in 2019-20, but is there room for more surprises in Italy’s top flight in 2025-26?

Serie A has had four different title winners in the last six years, with Napoli and Inter claiming the Scudetto twice each, and Juventus and Milan winning once each.

The new campaign in Italy’s top flight begins on August 23, and several fans are already predicting the outcome with a free $100 casino chip no deposit required.

Among the clubs finishing in the top eight last season, only Napoli and Juventus have kept their coaches, while the others have all changed their man at the helm.

Antonio Conte’s Napoli are the natural favourites, especially after signing Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer, but expect a season with a few underdogs as the summer transfer window is coming with some intriguing signings for mid-table teams.

The underdogs in 2025-26 Serie A title race

Como, for example, are currently the highest spenders in Serie A, just as they were in the January 2025 transfer window when Cesc Fabregas’ side was looking for reinforcements in the race for survival.

The Azzurri ultimately ended their season in the top 10 and aim for an even better finish in the 2025-26 season.

There are high expectations for new Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli, who already won the Serie A title with Milan in the 2021-22 season.

“The experiences I’ve had so far have brought me to the highest point of my career,” Pioli said (via TMW) in his unveiling press conference on Wednesday.

“I know there are many expectations here, but I already have a great feeling because I’ve found a lot of human depth in addition to one of the most beautiful training centres I’ve ever seen. I feel ready to do an outstanding job.”

The Parma-born tactician insisted that the Tuscans should aim for a Champions spot, and perhaps even more.

Roma are one of the most storied Italian clubs, but the Giallorossi haven’t won the Scudetto in more than 25 years, as Fabio Capello was the last coach to lift the coveted trophy at the Stadio Olimpico in 2000-01.

The Capolines have hired Gian Piero Gasperini, following his successful nine-year spell at Atalanta, during which he also won the Europa League.

Bologna, still coached by Vincenzo Italiano, one of the most exciting Serie A managers, will defend their status as Coppa Italia champions and aim for the top spots in the league table after qualifying for the Champions in the 2023-24 season under Thiago Motta.

Lazio have welcomed back Maurizio Sarri, but they may be forbidden from making new signings this summer due to financial issues.

Surely, competition for the 2025-26 Scudetto will be fierce and perhaps not only the most famous clubs will be involved in the conversation.

Report Inter already have Lookman agreement but must convince Atalanta

Reports in Italy claim that Inter already have an informal agreement with Nigeria international Ademola Lookman, but the Nerazzurri must first satisfy Atalanta’s demands for the 27-year-old before a deal can proceed. 

Reports from Corriere dello Sport on Wednesday morning confirmed that Lookman is now a ‘priority’ for Inter as they look to rebuild their attack following the departures of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic at the end of the 2024-25 season. 

The Nerazzurri have been informed that Atalanta are seeking a fee in the region of €50m for the reigning African Player of the Year, but reports suggest that Inter are hoping to strike a deal for a sum in the region of €40m instead.

Now, according to Sky Sport Italia, Inter already have the basis of an agreement with Lookman in place on personal terms, but that is redundant if the club are unable to come to an agreement with Atalanta over a transfer fee. 

In a boost for Inter, Sky details that the club are willing to invest €40m up front, which does not require any other first-team players to be sold beforehand.

Wednesday’s update claims that Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea, Juventus’s Nico Gonzalez and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho are among the altre soluzioni attacking options for the Nerazzurri this summer.

How Napoli’s deal with Liverpool for Darwin Nunez collapsed after 70 days of talks

Recent reports in Italy claim that Napoli are no longer targeting a move for Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez, and that they will instead close a deal with Udinese for Lorenzo Lucca, but how and why did the talks for the Uruguay international fall through, despite 70 days of negotiations? 

Why Napoli ditched Darwin after 70 days of talks 

The Partenopei, who sold Khvicha Kvaratshelia to Paris Saint-Germain in January, are on the verge of selling Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray for €75m and have also sealed a return to the Coppa Campioni for the 2025-26 season, are expected to have a heavy summer of recruitment. 

This summer has already brought the arrival of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City, and could also soon see the signings of Lucca, Noa Lang, Sam Beukema and potentially Dan Ndoye and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic as well.

According to Alfredo Pedullà (via Caught Offside), Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez had also been at the top of Napoli’s transfer targets at the beginning of the transfer window. 

Discussions between Liverpool and the Partenopei continued until just under 48 hours ago, when Napoli decided to proceed with a deal for Lucca rather than for Nunez.

There had been no issues on personal terms – Napoli were prepared to go beyond the €5m-per-season mark in a wage packet for the Uruguayan. 

Napoli had presented Liverpool with an initial bid of €42m, which was later turned down, before coming back in with an offer in excess of €50m before deciding to go down the Lucca route when it became clear that Nunez was going to become too expensive. 

Instead, Lucca is set to cost less than €40m, potentially in the region of €35m, which Napoli will be able to spread by bringing him in on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy at a later date.

Additionally, some of the money saved on the abandoned Lucca deal will now go towards other targets, potentially on the likes of Ndoye or Milinkovic-Savic. 

Nunez, meanwhile, still has other options this transfer window, including from Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

Pioli tells Fiorentina to get inspiration from Ronaldo and sends message to Allegri

New Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli won’t forget that Massimiliano Allegri omitted the Tuscans among the Coppa Campioni contenders and insists his players must get inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Pioli has returned to the Stadio Franchi for his second stint as a coach and was unveiled at a press conference on Wednesday.

Pioli explains why he returned to Fiorentina

“The experiences I’ve had so far have brought me to the highest point of my career,” Pioli said via TMW.

“I know there are many expectations here, but I already have a great feeling because I’ve found a lot of human depth in addition to one of the most beautiful training centres I’ve ever seen. I feel ready to do an outstanding job.”

Pioli was the Fiorentina coach when Davide Astori tragically died in his sleep on March 4, 2018, aged 31, before an away Serie A match against Udinese.

Fiorentina still remember their former captain before each home match by announcing their ex-No.13 in their starting XI.

“Obviously, he had a significant impact on my professional and personal life,” said Pioli.

“I still feel him, and that will never change. If we manage to take the same step forward as a team, we can even win the Scudetto.”

Pioli had reached an agreement with Fiorentina at the beginning of June, but it took him over a month to terminate his contract with Al-Hilal, where he had coached Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I’ve always wanted to come back. One phone call was enough. It was a month of anxiety, but still very positive,” Pioli said.

“It was an honour to coach him [Cristiano Ronaldo]. He’s much more than a champion,” he continued.

“You have no idea what lies behind his figure. I shared his management with him. He’s an incredible professional, and he’s obsessed with playing and scoring goals. He lives each day to be ready for the next game. That’s the kind of determination we need to have.”

Pioli will coach Moise Kean in the 2025-26 season. The Italian striker was the second-best Serie A goal scorer in 2024-25, and his €52m release clause expired yesterday, July 15, 2025.

“I’ve spoken with Moise during this period, but I don’t know whether I had an impact on his decision to stay. He’s very grateful to Florence. I’ve seen him calm and eager to work these days. He’s a very strong player,” he said.

Edin Dzeko has moved to the Franchi, while Albert Gudmundsson has made his loan move permanent. Can Fiorentina use all three of their stars simultaneously?

“We won’t always be the same, but the idea is to get them playing all together,” Pioli replied.

“Much will depend on their ability to work together. I’ll repeat it, the more quality players we have, the more chances we have to win.

“We should not focus on just one role or position. Gudmundsson a player with quality, great intelligence and desire to make an impact. He offers many solutions in attack, and I count on him. Fazzini has similar traits. What matters is having players with quality, pace and unpredictability. Unpredictability is the key to beating opponents.”

Pioli confirmed that Luca Ranieri would be Fiorentina’s captain next season and seemed confident that the Tuscans would compete for a spot in the top four next season.

“It won’t be Pioli against Allegri or Conte. It will be Fiorentina against Napoli, Milan and others,” he said.

“We have fire inside. I could have stayed where I was and been one of the ten highest-paid coaches in the world. If Fiorentina wants to be top, we need to prove it. Allegri didn’t put us among the Coppa Campioni contenders. I’ve already written that on the board.”

Pioli has signed a long-term contract at the Stadio Franchi, which will run until June 2028.

Gli azzurri sono tornati in Coppa Campioni e il nuovo formato lo ha reso un altro campionato tanto che sarà utile che ci sia qualcuno che esprima leadership sul terreno di gioco e nello spogliatoio e che dia il ricambio a McTominay. Non penso che De Bruyne possa giocare con McTominay e non credo in un centrocampo composto da McTominay, Lobotka e De Bruyne. Difatti, il rinnovo di Anguissa è una pedina indispensabile per la prossimo anno del Napoli.

Il Napoli è la portiere delle squadre favorite poiché ha aggiunto altri calciatori alla squadra dell’anno scorso, facendo un mercato da 10 e lode. Allorchè la squadra sarà completa, sarà tuttavia maggiore poiché avrà colmato tutte le lacune della passata stagione. L’Inter è meno forte dell’anno scorso poiché punta a ringiovanire la squadra e perchè la guida tecnica è passata da un tecnico collaudato come Simone Inzaghi a un semi debuttante come Chivu.

Milan? Capiremo a fine stagione se saranno completati i quadri, ma ora è meno forte dell’anno scorso. I rossoneri hanno perso Theo e Reijnders, ma hanno preso Ricci e Modric. In panchina è giunto Massimiliano Allegri e ci sta un dirigente come Tare che è quello di cui aveva bisogno il Milan. La Juventus sarà circa come quella dell’anno scorso nella fase di Tudor. L’Atalanta è un punto interrogativo, il passaggio da Gasperini a Juric mi lascia perplesso".

Galatasaray provide Napoli with Osimhen guarantee but must wait for completed deal

Galatasaray have agreed to provide Napoli with a letter of credit to ensure that they will be paid in full for the impending sale of striker Victor Osimhen, but it may still take another few days for the deal to be completed. 

For the second summer in a row, Osimhen has been seeking a permanent move away from Napoli. After seeing a deal collapse on deadline day last summer, the Nigeria international ended up on loan with Galatasaray and is now pushing to return to Istanbul on a permanent basis. 

The €75m release clause in the player’s contract has since expired, but Galatasaray and Napoli are proceeding with a deal for the same price tag regardless.

Where Napoli and Galatasaray stand in Osimhen talks

Though Galatasaray have agreed to pay the full €75m, there have been continuous discussions over the payment terms, largely in relation to the weight of the instalments. 

Napoli would like an up-front fee close to the €50m mark and for the remaining €25m to be paid by the end of 2026 at the latest. 

Football Italia understands that Napoli could eventually settle for a slightly reduced initial fee, as long as the rest of the €75m price tag is paid within a year.

The two clubs were in contact again on Wednesday to discuss the deal, and Galatasaray have since informed Napoli that they are now able to provide a letter of credit from the bank, which will ensure that the Partenopei are paid in full for Osimhen’s services. 

While the two parties are moving ever closer to closing a deal, it could still take a few more days due to the bureaucratic processes involved.
