Le parole del portiere dello Scudetto rossoblù del 1969-70, sintetizzate da TuttoCagliari.net: "Gigi Riva era abbastanza taciturno, nel senso che in maggior misura prima dell'incontro aveva una concentrazione incredibile. Sul terreno di gioco ti trascinava, lo vedevi: era una belva, non mollava mai. Prendeva un sacco di botte... e le ridava! L'ex capitano del Napoli e nella giornata odierna allenatore Gennaro Scarlato ha rilasciato un’intervista a 'Radio Goal', in diretta su Kiss Kiss Napoli: “Il Napoli in C? Tutti ci siamo messi subito in macchina per andare a giocare al Napoli, per me era un ritorno. Rinunciai a gran parte degli stipendi, ma fui soddisfatto di tornare. In seguito ci sta un po’ di dispiacere per il fatto di non esser rimasto in azzurro.
Mora o Olivera? Tutta la vita scelgo Nicola Mora (scherza ndr.). Aveva un piede che nella giornata odierna in parecchi si sognano, non è un caso che a diciassette anni giocava in Serie A col Parma. Ho rapporti stretti con Nicola (Mora ndr.) ed Emanuele Calaiò perchè viviamo a Napoli. Ma ho mantenuto rapporti pure con Ignoffo. Sergio Conceicao concedes Milan ‘made unforced errors’ in the 2-2 draw with Fiorentina and they keep repeating the same mistakes. ‘I am ultimately responsible, I am the coach.’
It was another dismal start for the Rossoneri, who are really making a habit of needing comebacks to make up for sluggish openings, here trailing 2-0 after 10 minutes to a Malick Thiaw own goal and Moise Kean strike.
When Tammy Abraham got them back into it, Conceicao made a bold and surprising decision, hauling Yunus Musah off after just 24 minutes to bring on Luka Jovic, who ultimately scored for 2-2.
When Conceicao arrived at the Sky Sport Italia studio, they were discussing the complete disconnect between the movements of the Milan central defenders and their full-backs.
“The team made unforced errors and to be honest there is some behaviour that we are trying to work on and improve. The goal against Napoli was very similar, we know it is a problem and are trying to work on it.
“There are some things you learn as a kid in the football academy. We also fail to convert a lot of chances, considering the number that we create, so that is another issue.”
Conceicao recognises repeated Milan problems

In the last four Serie A games, Milan have conceded four goals during the opening 15-minute period, which means they always have to fight back from losing situations.
“The approach for the first 25 minutes was very bad, it was not what we had prepared. I am ultimately the person responsible, as I am the coach,” noted Conceicao.
“We talk amongst ourselves, the lads gave me positive signals over the last few days. The game against Inter midweek was very different, we kept balanced, made fewer mistakes. I always say that quality for a player is not just one thing, but a collection of characteristics and behaviours, including raising the level and always being ready to represent the jersey.”

Conceicao seemed genuinely sad to pull the plug on Musah’s performance after just 24 dismal minutes, so after players went into the dressing room to console the American, he came back out and hugged his coach.
“He sent positive signals during the week, he was fresh, did really well in training. Afterwards, I realised the game was not going well for him, so I changed him. Musah has quality, he is a good lad, but sometimes you get games like that. It happens,” noted Conceicao.

Theo Hernandez was again far better in surging forward than he was in helping out the defence, so could he become a wing-back in a five-man midfield?
“In attacking terms, we all recognise his quality, as he can run with incredible ease and cause problems for opponents down that flank. It is true that players with his characteristics feel more protected with three in defence.”
Although they fought back from 2-0 down, this 2-2 result still means Milan remain in ninth place and risk falling ever further behind in the race for European qualification.
Now getting past Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final and trying to win the trophy might be their best possibilità of getting into the Europa League.
Considering how angry the coach got a few weeks ago about seeing his future questioned, Conceicao was asked if he was a Milan director, would he confirm him on the bench or wait until after the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final with Inter?
His response was to burst out laughing.
“I am really let down today and feel sad, but that did make me laugh. Thank you for that.”

Dopo una considerazione su un giocatore decisamente in forma fra i prossimi avversari dei partenopei, Riccardo Orsolini, già giunto a 10 gol in questa Serie A con l'ultima perla siglata a Venezia: "Orsolini? E’ antipatico da marcare, un po’ come Politano. E’ uno fastidioso, se non stai concentrato al massimo può saltarti. Dopo ha un ottimo sinistro, si avvicina molto a Politano che se è in giornata è imprendibile. Orsolini va obbligato a rincorrerti, cosa che non ama fare".

Former Inter player Cristian Chivu might’ve stalled his old club’s Scudetto hopes, because Parma came back from 2-0 down to hold the league leaders.
The Nerazzurri were fresh off a 1-1 Coppa Italia semi-final draw with Milan and preparing for Tuesday’s Champions quarter-final against Bayern Munich, but were in no position to take their foot off the gas in Serie A, as Napoli were just three points behind. Lautaro Martinez returned after an injury on international duty, but Mehdi Taremi, Denzel Dumfries, Piotr Zielinski and suspended Nicolò Barella were still out of action. Parma had steadied the ship under coach Cristian Chivu, but Matteo Cancellieri, Valentin Mihaila, Gabriel Charpentier, Mateusz Kowalski, Alessandro Circati, Yordan Osorio and Adrian Benedyczak missed out. Simone Inzaghi watched from the stands on his 49th birthday.

Parma should’ve opened the scoring on 10 minutes when Emanuele Valeri rolled across from the left for Ange-Yoan Bonny, but Yann Sommer made a desperate reaction save from eight yards.
Instead, Inter broke through with a bit of luck, as first the ricochet off a Parma player landed at the feet of Federico Dimarco, then the roll across got another slight touch off a defender to find Matteo Darmian at the back post, his finish bouncing in off the inside of the upright.
Lautaro Martinez steered a free header wide, while three teammates all failed to get the final touch on a Hakan Calhanoglu free kick across the six-yard box.
Sommer made an even more remarkable reaction save when Bonny dribbled through a crowd and pulled it back for Dennis Man.
Zion Suzuki was also called into action when Lautaro Martinez redirected the wayward Marcus Thuram strike from six yards.
Darmian ballooned over on the half-volley from a Thuram knockdown, but Inter doubled their lead in truly chaotic circumstances.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan sprung the offside trap to go clear down the right, his cross should’ve been an easy finish for Thuram, who horribly shinned the finish from eight yards, saw it loop up into the air and was also fortunate that Pontus Almqvist got the goal-line clearance awfully wrong too. Thuram, who was born in Parma, looked slightly embarrassed to have scored that way.

Chivu made several changes, but Inter were forced into one for Alessandro Bastoni’s left knee issue.
The hosts were more enterprising after the break and got a deserved goal, as Bonny with his back to goal laid it off for Adrian Bernabe to drill hard and low into the near bottom corner from well outside the box with his left boot.
Suddenly the crowd was right behind Parma too, as Sommer had to flap a Bonny dinked assist off the feet of Jacob Ondrejka.
The comeback was completed within nine minutes, as Ondrejka surged forward and saw his shot take a decisive deflection off Francesco Acerbi to wrongfoot Sommer for 2-2.
Alessandro Vogliacco prevented Marko Arnautovic tapping in a Yann Bisseck pull-back at the near post and Bisseck’s free header was wide on the resulting corner.
Ondrejka’s first touch let him down on a Drissa Camara counter-attack, but Marco Pellegrino almost won it for Parma in stoppages, sliding in to meet a low cross and grazing the woodwork.
