Serie A 2025-26 season: Start and end dates confirmed

The dates for the beginning and end of the 2025-26 Serie A have been confirmed, a season that could see Inter, Napoli, Atalanta, Juventus and Milan scrap it out for the league title.

The 2025-26 Serie A season will kick off on the fine settimana of Saturday 23 August, which is one month and ten days after the end of the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. 

The 2025-26 season will then draw to a close on the fine settimana of Sunday 24 May, which is just over a fortnight before the start of the 2026 World Cup, which will also be played in North America. 

Next season will begin a week later than the current 2024-25 campaign did, but will end on the same fine settimana; The last one in May. 

The fixtures for the opening fine settimana and first rounds of the 2025-26 season will be released at a later date.
