Napoli are indeed admirers of Juventus-owned midfielder Fabio Miretti, but currently have two other priorities: Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Dan Ndoye.
Napoli have been following Juventus midfielder for weeks, but currently, the Italian midfielder is not a priority target for the Partenopei.
Why Miretti is not a priority for Napoli

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter confirm to me that the current Partenopei priorities are deals for Torino goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic and Bologna winger Ndoye.
The Partenopei have recently made an offer close to €40m, including add-ons, for the Swiss winger who has prioritised a move to the Stadio Maradona over Nottingham Forest.
Vergara may leave Napoli if Miretti arrives

Napoli will only consider an offer for Miretti in the coming days, if not weeks, and his possible move to the Stadio Maradona would cast doubt on Antonio Vergara’s future. The 22-year-old has received offers from other clubs, and the defending Serie A champions will consider his future over the next few weeks.
Miretti, 21, has returned to Juventus after a one-season loan spell at Genoa, where he scored three goals and provided three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

L’attaccante, che arriva dalla sua prima annata in doppia cifra (10 gol), è stato appena riscattato per 12,5 milioni dall’Atalanta, ma potrebbe presto lasciare la Sardegna: la squadra sardo punta a monetizzare per rientrare degli oltre 24 milioni investiti nell’ultimo mercato. Su Piccoli si è mosso con forza il West Ham, che ha iniziato a comprovare il campo con perseveranza. Anteriormente si era fatto avanti il Como, in attesa di Morata ma alla ricerca di un’altra punta, vincolato ma alla cessione di Cutrone. Pure la Fiorentina ha mostrato interesse.
Il Cagliari parte da una valutazione di 30 milioni per il classe 2001, consapevole che sarà una contrattazione lunga. Ma il mercato per il centravanti rossoblù è già in pieno fermento.

A new Serie A season is just around the corner: here’s where to watch every game from Italy’s top flight in the UK, USA and Ireland.
The 2025-26 Serie A campaign begins on August 23 with defending champions Napoli visiting newly promoted side Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Italy’s top flight is attracting an increasingly large audience outside the Peninsula, especially in the UK, Ireland, and the USA.
DAZN recently announced an agreement to stream up to eight Serie A games per matchday week in the UK and Ireland, while fans in the USA can watch every game on Paramount+ or Fox Deportes. TNT Sports also has TV rights to broadcast Serie A matches in the UK.
This past March, Lega Serie A announced new records for audience engagement and accessibility in the American market.
Enzo Simonelli, the Lega Serie A President, said: “This season marks [2024-25] a historic milestone for Serie A in the United States. Never before has Italian football been so widely accessible across the country. The upcoming CBS Main Network broadcast of Juventus-Genoa on March 29 is yet another key moment in our mission to bring Serie A to as many fans as possible.”
Uncertain and exciting Scudetto race

The race for the Scudetto has become particularly appealing worldwide, primarily because no club has managed to retain the title won in the previous campaign since Juventus in the 2019-20 campaign.
The following season, Antonio Conte’s Inter ended the Old Lady’s nine-year domestic dominance by winning the Italian title.
When Conte left Inter that same summer, his successor, Simone Inzaghi, failed to retain the title, as the Nerazzurri’s city rivals, Milan, won their first Scudetto in nine years.
In 2022-23, Napoli, coached by Luciano Spalletti, broke a 33-year wait for a coveted Scudetto, but the Partenopei did not live up to expectations in the following campaign, as Inzaghi’s Inter dominated the season and won a historic 20th title.
Last term, it was Napoli – and Conte’s – turn again as the Partenopei lifted their second domestic title in three years.
This time around, there is another strong contender for the title, new Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has already lifted the Scudetto six times in his coaching career: five times with Juventus and once with the Rossoneri.
Allegri has reiterated that qualification for the Coppa Campioni will be the Rossoneri’s priority in 2025-26. However, with the team not involved in any European competition and his experience in title races, the Diavoli will be one of the teams to watch in 2025-26.
“The first goal is to return to the Coppa Campioni; we need to be in those spots in March,” Allegri said in his unveiling press conference.
“At Milan, we must always aim for the top and never settle. Working with great dedication, especially in the league where you need to maintain cruise speed. You need a certain number of points, score goals, and concede fewer. Goal difference has always mattered in Italian football; they’ve drilled that into me since I was a kid.”
Uno esce, uno entra. Alla Juventus prosegue il valzer sulle corsie laterali: Timothy Weah è sempre più vicino all'Olympique Marsiglia e Nahuel Molina rimane l’obiettivo principale per sostituirlo. La formula rimane quella già collaudata: prestito con obbligo di riscatto. L’accordo fra la Juve e la squadra francese è vicino, pure se restano da limare le cifre. Il Marsiglia ha messo sul piatto 15 milioni complessivi, ma i bianconeri chiedono per lo meno 20 più bonus. Nonostante i 5 milioni di distanza, filtra ottimismo, in maggior misura perché il figlio d’arte spinge per conquistare Roberto De Zerbi all’OM.
Come riportato dall'edizione di oggi de La Gazzetta dello Sport, in parallelo la squadra bianconero prosegue a lavorare su Molina, laterale destro dell’Atletico Madrid e vecchia conoscenza del campionato italiano. Simeone, dopo aver investito oltre 100 milioni in entrata, ha necessità di alleggerire il team: Molina è extracomunitario e potrebbe pertanto essere sacrificato, pure perché nelle ultime ore è stato ufficializzato l’arrivo di Marc Pubill, stesso ruolo.
La Juve punta a un prestito o a uno sconto importante rispetto ai 25-30 milioni richiesti all'inizio dai Colchoneros. Sono in corso valutazioni pure su possibili contropartite: i nomi di Vlahovic e Nico Gonzalez circolano, pure se il serbo è seguito con perseveranza dal Milan. Sul taccuino della dirigenza bianconera, tuttavia, resistono valide altre soluzioni: Dodo della Fiorentina, Clauss del Nizza, il Palestra dell’Atalanta e lo svincolato Lucas Vazquez, ex Real Madrid. Le prossime ore saranno decisive per definire l’incastro.

According to Tuttosport newspaper, Milan and Napoli have enquired about Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie, who wants to remain in Turin, but has yet to reach an agreement over a contract extension beyond 2026.
Napoli and Milan have shown interest in Juventus midfielder McKennie, and according to Tuttosport (via TMW), the Serie A giants have explored a possible deal with the Old Lady.

McKennie is part of Igor Tudor’s plans at the Allianz Stadium, but his contract in Turin expires at the end of 2025-26, so the Bianconeri won’t rule out a sale until they reach an agreement over a contract extension.

McKennie was frozen out of the team last summer, before signing a new deal to 2026. This time around, he’ll continue training under Tudor for the pre-season.
According to the report, a move to the MLS remains an option for McKennie. The American midfielder has never played at a club level in his native country, and a move to the USA should not be ruled out, especially with a view to the 2026 World Cup.

In questo modo scrive il Corriere dello Sport odierno e difatti gli emiliani hanno rispedito al mittente la nuova offerta del Napoli per Ndoye, approssimativamente da 40 milioni di euro complessivi, da circa 35 di parte fissa più altri 5 di bonus. Fra l'altro su Ndoye il Napoli non è neanche emancipatamente, dal momento che si sono fatte avanti pure realtà di Premier League. Nello specifico preme il Nottingham Forest, che prova a far leva sulla proposta di un accordo da 5 milioni di euro a stagione per il nazionale elvetico, senz'altro superiore a quanto in grado di mettere sul piatto il Napoli. Il calciatore sa ad ogni modo pure della forte stima di cui beneficia agli occhi di Antonio Conte e pure questo può avere un peso.
Da valutare pure i nomi alternativi di Jack Grealish (Manchester City) e Federico Chiesa (Liverpool).

Pisa have opened preliminary talks with Fiorentina over M’Bala Nzola after struggling to reach an agreement with Napoli for Giovanni Simeone, while Hellas Verona are close to signing Celta Vigo defender Unai Nunez.
Serie A clubs are busy with negotiations to bring in reinforcements for the 2025-26 campaign, which kicks off in a month.

Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell me that Pisa enquired about Fiorentina striker Nzola on Wednesday. The Tuscans are open to listening to offers, but may need to pay part of the striker’s salary. Nzola has also attracted interest from foreign clubs.
Pisa remain interested in Napoli’s Simeone, but they’ve been unable to reach an agreement with the Partenopei, so they are exploring altre soluzioni options.
Meanwhile, Verona are in advanced talks with Celta Vigo for their defender Unai Nunez, who is expected to leave this summer. Sources tell me that Verona are close to reaching a full agreement with the Spanish club.

Unai Nunez’s possible move to the Stadio Bentegodi is unrelated to Roma’s interest in Daniele Ghilardi, because if the Italian moves to the Olimpico, Verona will sign another centre-back.
Last but not least, Torino are finalising Vanja Milinkovic-Savic’s move to Napoli and the signings of Cyril Ngonge and Franco Israel.
Once those deals are completed and Torino get €22m for Milinkovic-Savic, they’ll probably have the financial resources to sign Gaetano Oristanio from Venezia.
