Napoli are keeping a close eye on Deportivo La Coruna talent Yeremay Hernandez and hoping to lower the €20m release clause.
While the Partenopei are continuing their pursuit of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, the asking price is considered to be vastly overblown.
The fact he started the last two games also suggests that the Premier League side is not open to a January sale.
Napoli see Yeremay for the future
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are turning towards a different figure who can excite the fans with his dribbling skills and attacking prowess in the Khvicha Kvaratskhelia mould.
The latest name on their list is Yeremay Hernandez, who only turned 22 last month.
He has also been linked with Como in Serie A, Chelsea and RC Strasbourg, having spent time in the youth academies of Las Palmas, Real Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna.
He scored eight goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances in LaLiga2 this season.
There is a €20m release clause in his contract, but Napoli are hoping to pay considerably less for the relative unknown.
