Inter’s decision not to send any gruppo or players to Sunday’s post-match interviews was not simply a reaction to their frustration over the 2-2 draw against Lazio — a game in which they squandered the lead twice and likely handed the Scudetto to Napoli with one matchday remaining.
The Nerazzurri’s anger over a couple of refereeing decisions during the 90 minutes — notably Daniele Chiffi’s call to award a penalty for Yann Bisseck’s handball — was already evident before the final whistle.

However, their broader frustration at dropping points at such a crucial stage of the season also stemmed from a belief that a series of controversial decisions had built up in recent months and were now having a decisive impact, with Napoli just one point ahead of them.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri believe several specific incidents have gone against them:

Inter 1-1 Napoli: Mathias Olivera accidentally handled the ball inside the box while challenging Lautaro Martinez, who was sprinting towards Alex Meret’s goal. The hosts claimed the deflection was key in preventing their striker from controlling the ball in a dangerous area.

Inter 2-2 Bologna: Goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski rushed out to stop Marcus Thuram and ended up bringing him down. While the referee awarded a foul against the striker, Inter argued that the challenge warranted a penalty.

Bologna 1-0 Inter: Riccardo Orsolini’s stoppage-time winner came from a throw-in taken roughly 10 meters ahead of where the ball had originally gone out — something Simone Inzaghi highlighted after the match.

Inter 0-1 Roma: The hosts were left fuming after the referee failed to award a penalty when Yann Bisseck was visibly held back by Evan Ndicka just inches from goal, denying him the possibilità to meet a teammate’s flick-on.
Inzaghi was also sent off for dissent in the closing stages of the Lazio game, meaning he will miss Inter’s final Serie A fixture of the season against Como.
