Bayern Munich could resume their pursuit of Inter star Hakan Calhanoglu as they line up potential replacements for Joshua Kimmich, who could reportedly leave the club at the end of the season.
The Bundesliga giants made an initial approach for the Turkey international last summer but were turned down, with the midfielder admitting he was prepared to do ‘whatever Inter wanted’ when contacted by the German powerhouse.

Bayern Munich could revive interest in Calhanoglu due to Kimmich’s likely exit
However, they could now reignite their interest in the midfielder after stalled contract extension talks with Kimmich led them to withdraw their offer to the Germany international.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Bayern Munich recently approached Inter to discuss the terms of a potential transfer, although he is reportedly just one of the club’s possible targets for the playmaker role.

Profiles like Ilkay Gündogan, Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona, and Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi are also said to be on their shortlist, but their previous interest in Calhanoglu suggests they could make another attempt to bring him to the Allianz Arena next summer.
