The Nerazzurri wing-back measured his run-up and curled it over the wall to brush the cobwebs out of the corner with his trusty left foot, leaving Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret rooted to the spot.
This was his fourth Serie A goal of the season, along with five assists, which helped take Inter to top spot in the table.
Remarkably, this was the first direct free kick scored by Inter in Serie A since November 2022 against Bologna, which was also from Dimarco.
