Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders says that he hopes his former side Milan go on to win the Scudetto in 2025-26, but admits that he also likes the look of Antonio Conte and Napoli after their perfect start to the Serie A season.
Reijnders left Milan to join Manchester City from Milan at the beginning of the summer in a deal that could be worth up to €75m with all add-ons and bonuses included.
Since then, the Dutchman has gone on to make an immediate impression under Pep Guardiola, starting in all four of his new club’s Premier League matches at the start of the 2025-26 season, plus Thursday night’s Champions victory over Napoli.
Who does Reijnders think will win the 2025-26 Scudetto?

Despite being part of the side that inflicted a 2-0 defeat upon Napoli in the Champions on Thursday night, Reijnders believes that the Partenopei are among the favourites to win the Scudetto this season.
He also hopes that his former club, Milan, now under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, go on to lift the trophy at the end of the campaign.
“Difficlt because the season just started,” Reijnders told Livescore.
“But what I’ve seen now is Napoli who have won three out of three and are doing really good. But of course, I hope that Milan will win. We will see at the end of the season.”
